Overview
Chulu East Peak Climbing is a high-altitude climbing expedition reaching 6,584m in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The route combines the Annapurna Circuit with moderate snow and ice climbing and a Northeast Ridge summit attempt.
Chulu East offers spectacular views of Annapurna I, II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Mt. Manaslu.
The approach begins with overland transportation from Kathmandu to Besisahar before following the Marsyangdi Valley and Annapurna Circuit toward Chulu East Base Camp.
The standard climbing route follows the Northeast Ridge. High Camp is established at approximately 5,400m, from where the summit is attempted before returning to Base Camp.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu at approximately 1,350m.

Day 2 Preparation, Briefing and Shopping in Kathmandu
Preparation day in Kathmandu including briefings at the relevant departments, equipment preparation and last-minute shopping.

Day 3 Kathmandu to Besisahar
Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar at 823m. The journey takes approximately 8 hours.

Day 4 Besisahar to Dharapani
Drive from Besisahar to Dharapani at 1,860m. The journey takes approximately 6 hours.

Day 5 Dharapani to Chame
Trek from Dharapani to Chame at 2,670m. The trekking duration is approximately 5 to 6 hours.

Day 6 Chame to Upper Pisang
Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang at approximately 3,100m. The trek takes around 5 hours.

Day 7 Upper Pisang to Braka
Trek from Upper Pisang to Braka at approximately 3,800m. The trek takes around 5 hours.

Day 8 Braka to Ngwal
Trek from Braka to Ngwal at approximately 4,100m. The trek takes around 4 hours.

Day 9 Ngwal to Yak Kharka
Trek from Ngwal to Yak Kharka at approximately 4,300m. The trek takes around 4 hours.

Day 10 Yak Kharka to Chulu East Base Camp
Trek from Yak Kharka to Chulu East Base Camp at approximately 4,500m. The trek takes around 4 hours before establishing the camping facilities.

Day 11 Chulu East Base Camp to High Camp
Climb from Chulu East Base Camp to High Camp at approximately 5,400m. The ascent takes around 4 hours.

Day 12 Rest and Acclimatization at High Camp
Buffer and acclimatization day at approximately 5,400m. The team can rest and acclimatize or adjust the schedule according to conditions and readiness for the summit attempt.

Day 13 Summit Chulu East Peak
Summit attempt of Chulu East Peak at 6,584m followed by descent to Base Camp. The summit day is long and strenuous and includes significant elevation gain and loss.

Day 14 Chulu Base Camp to Manang
Descend from Chulu East Base Camp to Manang at approximately 3,540m. The trek takes around 7 hours.

Day 15 Manang to Yak Kharka
Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka at approximately 4,350m. The trek takes around 4 hours.

Day 16 Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi at approximately 4,420m. The trek takes around 4 hours.

Day 17 Thorong Phedi via Thorong La Pass to Muktinath
Trek from Thorong Phedi over Thorong La Pass at 5,416m before descending to Muktinath at approximately 3,850m. The journey takes around 7 hours.

Day 18 Muktinath to Jomsom
Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom at approximately 2,700m. The trek takes around 4 hours.

Day 19 Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara
Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara at approximately 950m. The flight takes around 20 minutes. Hotel accommodation in Pokhara.

Day 20 Pokhara to Kathmandu
Travel from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus in approximately 7 hours or by flight in approximately 25 to 35 minutes. Farewell dinner and cultural program in the evening.

Day 21 Final Departure
Transfer to the airport for final departure or alternatively continue with another activity.
